Wudang Tai Chi is a traditional form of Tai Chi developed by Cheng Tin Hung. Influenced by the Wu family style, it focuses on both health and self-defense. Rooted in Taoist principles it emphasizes relaxed, efficient movement. Unlike more performance-oriented styles, Wudang Tai Chi is designed to be functional; combining mindfulness, body mechanics, and internal strength in everyday practice.
Why Learn Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a gentle yet powerful practice that improves balance, flexibility, and coordination while reducing stress. Its flowing movements promote relaxation, enhance focus, and support overall well-being, making it perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Regular practice can boost energy, improve posture, and help prevent falls by strengthening both body and mind. It’s more than exercise—it’s a moving meditation that enriches daily life.
Wudang Style Practical Tai Chi offers not just health benefits, but also a deeper understanding of how to move and respond with skill and awareness. Through the principles of yielding, timing, and precise body mechanics, you learn to conserve energy, flow with challenges, and turn potential conflict into harmony. This style builds strength, balance, and calm focus while teaching movement strategies you can apply in everyday life. It’s both a path to better health and a practical art for navigating the world with grace and efficiency.
